"Where everybody knows your name..."

The Dearly Beloved and I will always choose to shop at the place that treats us nicely -- even if they cost a little more.  I've waited a lot of tables; so if the food is good and the service is good, I'll be back.  And I fell in love with my husband because he treated the lady behind the cash register like a person who mattered, and not like an extension of the cash register.

Here are some of the places we've encountered that deserve attention, according to Mizrachi criteria.  Feel free to check back, as we're always on the lookout for our latest "favorite" vendor or eatery.

Benzi's Jewelry, Jaffa St. 51, Jerusalem - beautiful silver jewelry, great service (replete with brachot!)  http://rutimizrachi.blogspot.co.il/2008/12/where-everybody-knows-your-name-1.html

Gavna Dairy Restaurant, Gush Etzion - delicious food; beautiful, rustic setting; excellent service.  http://rutimizrachi.blogspot.co.il/2009/02/where-everybody-knows-your-name-2.html

M. Pomeranz Bookseller, Be'eri St. 5, Jerusalem - our favorite bookstore in the world!  http://rutimizrachi.blogspot.co.il/2010/08/where-everybody-knows-your-name-3.html

Ma'alot Chef Restaurant and Tapas Bar, HaMa'alot St. 7, Jerusalem - excellent meat menu; great service. http://rutimizrachi.blogspot.co.il/2011/01/where-everybody-knows-your-name-4.html
